From Self-Service Kiosks to Real-Time Health System Orchestration

Last year, Q-nomy was cited by Gartner as a sample vendor in the "Hype Cycle for Real-Time Health System Technologies, 2016" report. Q-nomy was named in the "Patient Self-Service Kiosks" category.

This year, Q-nomy has been identified as a sample vendor in the Gartner "Hype Cycle for Real-Time Health System Technologies, 2017" report, and was named in the Real-Time Health System Orchestration solutions category.

Any mention in a Gartner Hype Cycle report is considered highly prestigious recognition. Patient self-service kiosks are key components of the patient journey, and Q-nomy has indeed been able to use kiosks as fully interactive communication channels with customers, establishing kiosks as part of the healthcare omni-channel ecosystem.

Being named this year in the Real Time Health System Orchestration category is a major step forward, indicating the progress made by both the market and Q-nomy. This is a truly transformational layer of technology, which enables unprecedented optimization of hospital resources and workflows.

Hospitals and care centers are now starting to expect this level of integration between software solutions. This expectation represents a fundamental evolution in the industry — and for Q-nomy to be acknowledged as a leader in this field is absolutely exciting.

It's yet too early to know what 2018 brings, but we are definitely making every effort to stay at the forefront of healthcare IT and patient journey optimization technology.
